Your device must be running Windows 10, version 2004 or later, to upgrade. Note that this app does not check for graphics card or display, as most compatible devices will meet those requirements listed below. If you are unsure whether your PC meets these requirements, you can check with your PC Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or, if your device is already running Windows 10, you can use the PC Health Check app to assess compatibility. If your device does not meet these requirements, you may not be able to install Windows 11 on your device and might want to consider purchasing a new PC.
From the BIOS screen, expand the Video group.These are the minimum system requirements for installing Windows 11 on a PC. As the system logo is loading, press the F12 key to get to the system BIOS. Here is another way to set the default graphics card if your computer has more than one card. You can also set selected programs to use different video/graphics cards. Toggle the drop-down menu for the system to use the NVIDIA video/graphics card as the default. Above I would like to use the following 3D settings, a drop-down box appears if there is more than one video/graphics card. On the left hand side, select 3D Settings > Manage 3D Settings. Right-click on the desktop and choose NVIDIA Control Panel. You may have to look up instructions for your specific graphics cards online. Substitute your video/graphics card name instead. For the purposes of example, we use the NVIDIA video/graphics card.
